Drink Pouring Ghost Caught on Camera (Pic)

Apsley House Pub

It seems that for some reason, ghosts just love going down to a pub for a drink just like the rest of us, but it seems some also want to play bartender and pose for photographs as well!

That appears to be the case with the spirited spirit that haunts the Apsley House in Southsea, Hants, where the alleged ghost of a former barman tops off your drinks.

‘Reedy’ or Matrixing?

The Pub’s landlord, Paul Wicks, claims that the resident ghost is named ‘Reedy’ after Oliver Reed and worked at the 1960′s club for thirteen years before his death, yet still like to return to the comfort of being in a bar:

” People say they have seen the ghost at the bar and that they feel things – cold spots things like that. I am a skeptic but can’t see any rhyme or reason for [the events that have happened here]“

Reedy also seems to like having his picture taken as he showed up in the pics of Paul Morgan, who was taking snap shots during a retirement party for one of the pub’s staff members:

“I was taking lots of photos with my iPhone because it was a fancy dress-themed party.

I took a few of a group of friends and it was once I looked at them a while later I noticed something strange in the background.

I took two shots in a matter of seconds. You can’t see anything strange in the first, then a face appears in the next.It is very weird. I showed my kids and they couldn’t believe it. There was no one near at the time.”

In all honesty Paul’s pic looks like it could be a case of motion blur from the lady’s sitting right near the ‘face’. It appears to be the lady in black’s hand and perhaps the lady across form her’s blurred elbow. However, even if the picture of the pub ghost is not a picture of Reedy, it is one creepy example of matrixing.

What do you guys think of this ghost photo? Is Reedy working overtime at the pub staff’s function or is all an optical illusion with a nice ghost story to go with it?

  1. It looks odd, but I’m guessing not a ghost.

  2. It actually took me FOREVER to see the face. Definitely matrixing.
